about

The sensational sounds of The Native Howl's first full-length album Inukshuk reflect a certain spectrum of soul known to those who live guided by heart. Intuitive grooves accompanied by melodic mischief and four part harmonies fill with intrigue, agony and delight. Since breaking onto the scene in 2013 with their debut EP The Revolution's Dead, songwriters Jake Sawicki and Alex Holycross have become renowned for their creativity and ability to please an un-expecting crowd. With the addition of drummer Joshua LeMieux and bassist David Robinson, the spectrum of creativity has doubled.

After thousands of hours of writing and recording, The Native Howl takes great pride in the quality and message of Inukshuk which directly reflects the attitudes of grassroots artists in the time of unrewarded renaissance.
